What are the UNNItel devices?
UNNItel has 2 versions of UNNifi device:
The UNNIfi is a mobile WiFi router which operates just like a private personal secure hotspot. We call it a Mobile WiFi, or “MiFi”.
We use a patented CloudSIM technology to allocate a local SIM card to your device and connect you locally in over 100+ countries. All you need to do is connect up to 5 of your own devices to the UNNIfi and you will be connected to the local network at the highest available speeds.
Our UNNIfi+ provides the same great CloudSIM technology packaged in a sleek Android phone. This allows you to upload your own Social Media, such as WhatsApp, WeChat and FaceBook to use as your travel.
What is CloudSIM technology?
Our patented CloudSIM technology is very smart. When you arrive in a new country and turn your device on, we recognize the best local network operator to provide you data. We then allocate a local SIM card to your device and connect you, just you are a local user in that country. And we do this in 100+ countries.
How do I operate the Unnifi Device?
Press and hold the “Power Button” for a couple of seconds until the WiFi LED indicator lights up. The WiFI LED will continue to flash until it has established a network connection (please allow up to 5mins to complete this process). The device would be ready to use once the WiFi LED indicator shows a steady light.
The Signal LED (the center LED) indicates the signal strength of the device while the Battery LED indicates the current battery capacity of the device.
Once connected, activate the WiFi connection on the mobile devices you wish to connect to the device and search for the “SSID” which is printed on the device. Enter the corresponding password (note: password is case sensitive).
How do I set-up the Unnifi+ (Elitek)?
- Power on the device and connect to a Wifi network (initial set-up only)
- Update the device software: Open Settings -> “About Phone” -> Select “Update” Tab
- Once update is completed, open the GlocalMe Connect App to start using the device data (WiFi network can now be disconnected)
- Same app can be used to Top-Up data on the device
- 更新设备软件 : 打开设置 -> “关于手机” -> 选择 “更新”
- 更新完成后，打开GlocalMe Connect应用程序以开始使用设备数据 (现在可以断开WiFi网络)
Cara untuk menetapkan “Set-Up” peranti anda :
- Hidupkan peranti anda dan sambungkan ke rangkaian WiFi
- Kemaskini perisian peranti : Pilih “Setting” -> “About Phone” -> Pilih “Update Tab”
- Setelah perisian telah dikemaskini, buka Aplikasi “GlocalMe Connect” untuk menggunakan data yang sedia ada pada peranti anda. (Rangkaian WiFi kini boleh diputuskan)
- Aplikasi GlocalMe Connect boleh juga digunakan untuk Data Top-Up pada peranti.

How many mobile devices can be connected to my UNNIfi/UNNIfi+ ?
You can connect up to 5 mobile devices to the UNNIfi simultaneously. However, as the data connection will be shared among multiple mobile devices at the same time, the speed of the shared connection might be a bit slower.
How long does the battery last?
Twelve (12) hours while connected to one (1) device.
Can I make Calls and send SMS using the device?
The UNNIfi device provides a data connection to the internet only. You need to use your own mobile device to connect to it to make voice calls and SMS. The UNNIfi+ will also allow you to download various apps (WhatsApp, Viber, FaceBook etc) which could enable you to make voice calls and send messages via these APPS, just as you would with your current mobile device.
I am a frequent traveller. How many devices do I need?
You only need one device which will work across our network of destinations. Just remember to restart/reboot the device when you arrive in a new country to ensure the device selects the optimal local network for your device.
